Welcome to the Lady Rockers.  We were formed in October, 2002.  The objective of The Lady Rockers shall be to promote fellowship of women in golf and social activities.  We are a non-profit organization and membership is open to all women over the age of 21.  Elections are held each calendar year and the terms of Office shall be one year for all Officers/Directors.

The duties of the VP are to recruit new members and to act as liaison between our organization and The Rock Club. The VP is also responsible for the Newsletter. 

Pat Henderson, Secretary/Treasurer

The Secretary shall keep the minutes of all regular and special meetings and maintain a current list of members.  Please keep your membership information up to date so you can be kept informed of all activities. The Treasurer is the custodian of all funds.

The Golf Chairman shall set up the plan for The Lady Rockers Golf League. She shall arrange teams and weekly events, verify scores and establish handicaps and maintain a list of scores for end of year awards.  The Chairman will meet with the course pro regarding the calendar of golf events. This year the opening Golf Tournament will be Saturday, April 5th and regular golf will begin the following week.  There has been a lot of discussion regarding Ladies Golf to be on Tuesday or Wednesday.  This will be decided at the General Meeting February 12 at 7:00 pm.

A golf clinic will also be discussed at that General Meeting.  There are discounted rates for golf play for non-Club members.

 Sue and Nancy will come up with suggestions for social (non-golf) activities.  In addition to monthly or quarterly pot luck dinners, some suggestions are a Pampered Chef Cooking demo, an Antiques Road show, etc. Please bring some suggestions to the General Meeting. n addition to the above we have a monthly book club.  Join us for desert and conversation.  Also, our charity this year is the Humane Society. We will discuss ways to raise funds at the Meeting.
